How the 6-team ultimate frisbee single elimination bracket is built
6 is not a power of two, so the bracket is padded to 8 slots and the top 2 seeds skip round one with a bye. A champion is decided after 5 games in 3 rounds; add the optional 3rd-place match for one more game.
First-round matchups
Standard seeding puts the strongest seed against the weakest: 4 v 5, 3 v 6. Seeds 1–2 wait for round two. List your teams strongest-first in the generator and the seeding is applied automatically.
How long does it take?
With 90-minute games, 5 games take about 7.5 hours on one field and 3.8 hours on two — but rounds can't overlap, so the last rounds always run one game at a time. Pro's scheduler enforces that ordering when it assigns dates, start times and fields.
Ultimate Frisbee rules that affect the schedule
Ultimate games are played to 13 or 15 points with a soft time cap (~75–90 minutes). Tournaments run pool play (round robin) on Saturday and a bracket on Sunday.
Tie-breakers: Head-to-head, then point differential among tied teams, then point differential overall (USA Ultimate ordering).
Organizer tip: Generate the pools as round robins first, then create a separate single-elimination bracket for the top seeds.
