How a 10-team cornhole round robin works
Every team plays each of the other 9 teams once, which is 45 games in total. With an even number of teams every team plays in every round, so the whole schedule fits in 9 rounds with no byes. A double round robin (home and away) doubles that to 90 games over 18 rounds.
Round 1 pairings
The generator uses the circle method, which guarantees each pair meets exactly once. For 10 teams seeded 1–10, round 1 is: 1 v 10, 9 v 2, 3 v 8, 7 v 4, 5 v 6. Home and away alternate so no team is stuck with all away games.
How long does it take?
Using 25-minute cornhole slots, 45 games need about 18.8 hours on one board set, 9.4 hours on two, or 4.7 hours on four. A weekly league playing one round per week runs 9 weeks. Pro's scheduler turns those numbers into actual dates, start times and board sets, honouring rest gaps and games-per-day limits.
Cornhole rules that affect the schedule
Cornhole games are played to 21 points, usually taking 15–25 minutes. Backyard and bar leagues favour a round robin followed by a single-elimination playoff for the top half.
Tie-breakers: Wins, then point differential, then head-to-head.
Organizer tip: Because games are short, list every board set as a field to keep the event moving.
