How the 16-team cornhole single elimination bracket is built
16 is a power of two, so the bracket is full and nobody gets a bye. A champion is decided after 15 games in 4 rounds; add the optional 3rd-place match for one more game.
First-round matchups
Standard seeding puts the strongest seed against the weakest: 1 v 16, 8 v 9, 4 v 13, 5 v 12, 2 v 15, 7 v 10, 3 v 14, 6 v 11. List your teams strongest-first in the generator and the seeding is applied automatically.
How long does it take?
With 25-minute games, 15 games take about 6.3 hours on one board set and 3.1 hours on two — but rounds can't overlap, so the last rounds always run one game at a time. Pro's scheduler enforces that ordering when it assigns dates, start times and board sets.
Cornhole rules that affect the schedule
Cornhole games are played to 21 points, usually taking 15–25 minutes. Backyard and bar leagues favour a round robin followed by a single-elimination playoff for the top half.
Tie-breakers: Wins, then point differential, then head-to-head.
Organizer tip: Because games are short, list every board set as a field to keep the event moving.
