How the 16-team cornhole double elimination bracket is built

16 is a power of two, so the bracket is full and nobody gets a bye. Everyone gets two lives: losers from the winners bracket drop into a 6-round losers bracket. The grand final is 30 games in, and if the losers-bracket finalist wins it a reset game is played, for 31 games in total.

First-round matchups

Standard seeding puts the strongest seed against the weakest: 1 v 16, 8 v 9, 4 v 13, 5 v 12, 2 v 15, 7 v 10, 3 v 14, 6 v 11. List your teams strongest-first in the generator and the seeding is applied automatically.

How long does it take?

With 25-minute games, 31 games take about 12.9 hours on one board set and 6.5 hours on two — but rounds can't overlap, so the last rounds always run one game at a time. Pro's scheduler enforces that ordering when it assigns dates, start times and board sets.

Cornhole rules that affect the schedule

Cornhole games are played to 21 points, usually taking 15–25 minutes. Backyard and bar leagues favour a round robin followed by a single-elimination playoff for the top half.

Tie-breakers: Wins, then point differential, then head-to-head.

Organizer tip: Because games are short, list every board set as a field to keep the event moving.
