How the 12-team darts double elimination bracket is built

12 is not a power of two, so the bracket is padded to 16 slots and the top 4 seeds skip round one with a bye. Everyone gets two lives: losers from the winners bracket drop into a 6-round losers bracket. The grand final is 22 games in, and if the losers-bracket finalist wins it a reset game is played, for 23 games in total.

First-round matchups

Standard seeding puts the strongest seed against the weakest: 8 v 9, 5 v 12, 7 v 10, 6 v 11. Seeds 1–4 wait for round two. List your teams strongest-first in the generator and the seeding is applied automatically.

How long does it take?

With 30-minute games, 23 games take about 11.5 hours on one board and 5.8 hours on two — but rounds can't overlap, so the last rounds always run one game at a time. Pro's scheduler enforces that ordering when it assigns dates, start times and boards.

Darts rules that affect the schedule

Pub darts leagues play best-of-3 or best-of-5 legs of 501. Round robins are common for weekly leagues; knockout cups use single elimination.

Tie-breakers: Wins, then leg difference, then head-to-head.

Organizer tip: Use 30-minute slots and one field per board.
